sleepover

Since DJ works nights, I invited my sister over for a sleepover.  In just a couple days she is leaving for my dad's house and will be gone all summer! So we went shopping...made creme brulee...and both made skirts with matching hair bows! I was so excited to have my sister over.  It had been a long time since we had hung out like that!

However...when rockie has to go pooty he will come to my bed and just stare at me...but since it was my sister (and rockie loves new people) he licked her and totally got in her mouth!!! Now she is a little nervous to ever sleep over again!

Yesterday I went to bear lake to hang out with my family! It was so much fun.  I love going to my grandma's house!

Today I am way sick! I hate the stomach flu... but i finally uploaded some pictures off my camera.

we tried to see if rockie would sit on dj's lap...he kinda was freaking out for a while because his bum is too big for his lap!

dream job

I just applied for my dream job today! I always feel weird telling people that I applied for a job because its super embarrassing if i don't get it...luckily I dont have too many followers...

so my super loud and dirty neighbors yelled at me at 1130 at night for being too loud with my dogs (except we were being pretty quiet since I was almost asleep) It sucked so bad that DJ wasnt home!

SEWING

Last night we went over to Kent and Melanie's house.  I was sewing and DJ was playing video games.  I had so much fun learning so many new things...even though I know how to sew (the basics) I really don't know how much help I am.  LOL...I can't wait to go back over on Saturday to sew.

My lovely dwarf hamster died yesterday! He lived a GREAT life. ...maybe except for the time that my sister's cat knocked him out of his cage and chased him around the house.  My sister called me while I was at beauty school.  "um, i think my cat ate your hamster." I rushed home probably speeding!!!!

DJ got another raise (because he works so stinking hard.  That would be 6 raises in the last 7 months.  He is awesome.

I keep counting down the days till we buy a house.

Rockie and LOLA

Dj and I made homemade dog treats for our puppies! It was so much fun! I made DJ try them and all of them were "blah" he said!

First we made milk bones.  I forgot to by a cookie cutter in the shape of a bone so we made them heart shaped!

Then, peanut butter poppers.  Lola doesnt really like these treats but ROCKIE loves them!

For hot days we also made them pug pops.  The recipe said "even yummy for adults" but no way could i ever think about tring them!

It was super cute seeing Dj dress up in a apron! I took lots of cute pictures but my camera is in the other room and I dont want to wake DJ since he works in 30 minutes!

California!

This week I surprised DJ with a trip to California.  He just thought we were taking a week off from work to relax! (I am very convincing with everything that I said!) He came home on Monday morning to this on our door.....

So, then we tookour dogs to a pet hotel and left!
...not long into the trip, DJ fell asleep at the wheel and we crashed into the middle divider! Luckily, we just scratched our car and we kept going.

On Tuesday we woke up and went to Knotts Berry Farm! I love knotts and it was completely dead.  We never had to wait in line.  However, because we never had to wait in a line, we got the worst headaches because we didn't have to wait in line...because we just kept going and going and going!

My head and tummy were hurting so bad...that Dj went on xcellerator all by himself! So i videoed the ride...its a pretty intense ride!

The park closed at 6 but we left about 530 because we did every ride and then some!

The next morning we went to santa monica pier! I have never been a super beachy person but i always have loved Santa Monica. we first won 500 tickets at an arcade...and then we rented bikes

of course i rented the pink bike! we were going to stay at the beach a little longer but good thing we left when we did because we both were exhausted and took a nap before MIDEVAL TIMES!  It is my favorite dinner and show performance.  You sis around in king Arther's castle while eating every kind of meat you could imagine while you watch them fight for the princess!!!!

 

so we were matching every day...but everywhere we went people were commenting on our matching pink shirts!

i had to wear my blue jacket again because just my wrists got sunburned and it looked way funny!

On Thursday we drove up to st george and we met up with my best friend kim and kerry! we talked forever but I could have kept talking! Friday we stopped and shopped in Vegas and then made it home to pick up my puppies!!!!
